Dr. Christine Gibbon, LP, works with clients in a collaborative manner. Together you will establish therapy goals and assess your progress. Dr. Christine Gibbon is a Licensed Psychologist (LP) through the Minnesota Board of Psychology. Dr. Gibbon earned her Master's and Doctoral degrees in Counseling Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She spent two years training (pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship) at Boston Children's Hospital and Harvard Medical School, where she specialized in Pain Management, Pediatric Psychology, and coping with Sickle Cell Disease.
Dr. Gibbon has completed advanced training through the Center for Mind-Body Medicine and the Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics Hypnosis Workshops. She has recently participated in the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program through the University of Minnesota's Center for Spirituality and Healing. She has been a Visiting Assistant Professor at St. Olaf College (Northfield, MN) and is a member of the American Psychological Association.
